Burtu dizaina un ciparošanas darbnīcas jeb type design and digitalization workšops Polijā (kāds valodas speciālists varētu iemācīt, kā tulko vārdus Typography un workshop pareizi).

The workshop in type design is dedicated to designers and students, focused on typeface design, and signs digitalization.
The first week lead by Filip Blažek and Martin Pecina, (Prague, Typo Magazine, the authors of Comenia project awarded EDA 2008) will be
 concentrated on Central European diacritics and kerning.
The second part dedicated to details in typeface digitalization, would be lead by Gerry Leonidas (leader of MA program, Reading
 University, Department of Visual Communication and Typography).
Classes will be held in the Silesian Castle of Art and Enterprise in Cieszyn from 20 to 31 July 2009.
Language of workshops: English.
The whole workshop fee is 2 000 PLN (kas laikam sanāk ~312LVL!)
The one week workshop in selected subject charge is 1 500 PLN.
Travel and subsistence expenses of participants to bear alone.
It is necessary to have your own laptop and software, CS (minimum CS2) and Fontlab.
